Guided by educators from the Mission Coteaux, Maisons et Caves de Champagne \u2013 World Heritage, they assemble a large 3D model and learn about the typical layout of a vineyard. In this workshop, they\u2019ll discover how these landscapes have been shaped over millions of years to form the UNESCO-recognized hillsides of Champagne. At the booth for the Mission Coteaux, Maisons et Caves de Champagne\u2014World Heritage, guides welcome children for a group activity centered around a large relief model. Each child receives a puzzle piece and works with the other participants to gradually reconstruct the Champagne landscape. Throughout the workshop, the model helps participants understand the typical layout of this cultural landscape: the terrain, the hillsides, the villages, the houses, and the cellars that all play a role in champagne production.<\/p>\n

For 45 minutes, the children observe, explore, and work together to build a hands-on model of the region.
