Take a seat in the workshop tent at the Village Relais du Goût for a creative session focused on ceramics. Inspired by the symbols of Reims, you’ll decorate a wall plate with acrylic paint.

Rosettes, stained-glass windows, champagne bubbles, bottles, and bunches of grapes become the motifs of a personal creation.

You’ll leave with a one-of-a-kind piece, varnished and ready to display in your home.

Inside the workshop tent at the Village Relais du Goût, you’ll immerse yourself in a creative experience inspired by the elegance and heritage of Reims. The experience invites you to decorate your own wall plate by painting with acrylics on a pre-fired ceramic plate. You’ll choose your size—a small plate measuring about 20 cm or a large plate measuring about 30 cm—and then design your own decoration based on the suggested themes.

The designs can draw inspiration from the city’s iconic treasures: the rose windows and play of light at Reims Cathedral, the vibrantly colored stained-glass windows, as well as the world of champagne, with its delicate bubbles, iconic bottles, and bountiful grape clusters. You can follow one of these themes or combine several elements to create a plate that reflects your personal style.

Once the painting is complete, your creation is enhanced with a protective varnish. A wall mount is provided so you can turn your plate into a decorative piece, ready to find its place in your home. Open to everyone, this workshop emphasizes the joy of creating, exploring shapes and colors, and the personal memory of a moment spent surrounded by the symbols of Reims.
