In detail

At Taittinger, champagne is first and foremost a table wine—one that can accompany a meal, complement a dish’s texture, and reveal unexpected flavors. With *L’Art des Accords*, you’ll take part in a tasting workshop dedicated to the subtle connections between food and champagne.

Throughout the experience, two of the House’s iconic cuvées—Taittinger Brut Millésimé 2018 and Taittinger Prestige Rosé—are paired with five bite-sized dishes specially crafted to highlight their aromas, balance, and gastronomic expression. Each pairing invites you to observe how your perception of the wine changes: a note that becomes rounder, a freshness that intensifies, a texture that prolongs the tasting experience, or a flavor that reveals itself in a new way.

In a short, informal setting, you’ll explore a different way of approaching champagne—not just as a celebratory wine, but as a companion at the table. The workshop is held in small groups, with 10 participants per session, to encourage active listening, careful tasting, and discussions about the sensations experienced.

Taittinger Champagne

Taittinger is one of the last major Champagne houses to have retained its independence and to bear the name of the family that runs it. Its style, characterized by a high proportion of Chardonnay, is distinguished by its finesse, freshness, and elegance. Located in Reims on the historic site of Saint-Nicaise Abbey, the House welcomes visitors to one of the most iconic sites of Champagne’s heritage and cultivates a vision of champagne that is deeply rooted in heritage and gastronomy.
