In the heart of the Village des Relais du Goût, you’ll discover the first edition of the Sacre du Pâté en Croûte – Grand Prix de Reims.

You’ll see the contestants’ creations, the jury’s deliberations, and the announcement of the results.

Starting at 12:30 p.m., you’re invited to taste the finalist pâtés en croûte and vote for the People’s Choice Award.

Pâté en croûte, an iconic product of France’s culinary heritage, is making an appearance at Les Relais du Goût with a brand-new competition dedicated to this specialty, which is as technically demanding as it is convivial. During the morning, you’ll get a behind-the-scenes look at the Sacre du Pâté en Croûte – Grand Prix de Reims, the first edition of this event bringing together artisans, charcutiers, caterers, restaurateurs, bakers, pastry chefs, and up-and-coming talents.

At the Village des Relais du Goût, you’ll discover the creations designed by the contestants and witness the highlights of the competition. The creations presented must incorporate at least one product that is characteristic of the Champagne region, showcasing the region’s culinary expertise, precise techniques, interplay of textures, and flavors.

The jury, chaired by Christophe Raoux, a Meilleur Ouvrier de France and Michelin-starred chef, will conduct the tasting from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. before the results are announced. Starting at 12:30 p.m., you can discover and taste the finalists’ creations, then help decide the People’s Choice Award by voting for your favorite pâté en croûte. This free event offers a chance to experience a great French culinary tradition in a festive, gourmet atmosphere that’s open to everyone.
