Aurélie Gérard

After initially working in the French public school system, Aurélie Gérard decided to pursue her passion for pastry. A few years earlier, she had submitted her application to the TV show *Le Meilleur Pâtissier*. Three days before her 50th birthday, she received the long-awaited call from BBC Studios. What followed were auditions, tastings, and the selection process that would lead her all the way to Season 13 of the show.

This adventure marked a major turning point in her professional life. Building on this experience, she gained the confidence she needed to earn her CAP in pastry arts and turn her passion into a full-fledged career.

Today, Aurélie divides her time between creating pastries for custom events and her work as a beekeeper. Driven by a passion for sharing and passing on her knowledge, she also offers workshops, baking classes, and team-building activities—all opportunities to connect with the public.

The honey produced by his bees, along with his handmade products, are now sold in several local shops, including those in Suippes, Châlons-en-Champagne, Pierry, and Cormontreuil.
