A fun experience for ages 12 and up, perfect for families to discover the daily life of a farmer in the Marne region and gain a better understanding of the journey from field to plate.

Now it’s your turn! With the CIVAM de l’Oasis, step into the shoes of a farmer from the Marne region and discover, through a game inspired by the Game of the Goose, the choices that shape life on a farm.

For 1 hour and 30 minutes, move from step to step, make your decisions, and observe their consequences: organizing the activity, adapting to unforeseen events, marketing… every choice you make shapes your journey.

A fun and interactive experience, open to ages 12 and up, designed to help you better understand the farming profession and trace the journey of our food from field to plate.

Accessible from the “Village of Sustainable Gastronomy— Organizations Committed to Local and Responsible Food,” extend your visit by meeting the other organizations and checking out the activities on offer, and leave with plenty of tips for adopting a more local and responsible diet.

CIVAM of the Oasis

CIVAM de l’Oasis is an agricultural and rural development association rooted in popular education, committed to the values of the CIVAM Network, and has been developing expertise since 2008 on the interactions between agronomy and biodiversity in field-crop areas. They work primarily in the chalky Champagne region, specifically in the Marne and Aube departments.

This association serves as a meeting place for those who seek to reconcile agronomy and biodiversity, with the goal of building coherent and resilient agrosystems. It also provides a forum for dialogue between citizens and farmers, with the aim of fostering vibrant, community-oriented farming communities.

Villa Douce

Built between 1929 and 1934 for notary André Douce, Villa Douce is an Art Deco mansion designed by Pol Gosset. Its brick façade and interior inspired by the ocean liner style make it a unique landmark in Reims’ cultural heritage.
Listed for its remarkable music salon, it now houses the University of Reims Champagne-Ardenne and opens its doors to the public on special occasions, such as the Relais du Goût.

Our partners

The experience is offered as part of the Triangle Marnais Regional Food Project by the City of Reims, Greater Reims, and the Montagne de Reims Regional Nature Park, in partnership with Reims Tourisme & Congrès. It also brings together local partners: the CROUS of Reims, the City of Reims’ School Fund, the City of Reims’ Social Action Center (CCAS), and the La Salle Agricultural High School in Thillois.
