Here, the cappuccino becomes a space for learning and self-expression. Over the course of 1 hour and 30 minutes, you’ll discover the basics of latte art with L’Occasion Café, a specialty coffee shop and educational hub located on Rue de Vesle in Reims.

The workshop guides you step by step through understanding the techniques that create milk foam designs. You’ll explore working with milk—its texture and pouring techniques—as well as the principles of coffee extraction, to better understand the balance between technique, precision, and the pleasure of tasting. After an introduction to the fundamentals, you’ll move on to hands-on practice: with guidance from the team, you’ll learn to draw your first heart in your cup, before exploring the basics that will allow you to create more elaborate designs.

Open to both the curious and coffee lovers alike, this introductory workshop emphasizes experimentation, a friendly atmosphere, and hands-on practice. You’ll leave with a better understanding of a barista’s craft and practical tips for recreating your first creations at home.
