In detail
For three days, the Village des Relais du Goût becomes a gathering place open to everyone at the foot of the Porte de Mars. You’ll wander from booth to booth to discover the diversity of the Champagne region’s vineyards, meet nearly forty winemakers, and chat with the people who craft Champagne wines. Each encounter invites you to gain a deeper understanding of a terroir, a grape variety, a landscape, or a winemaking technique, all in a friendly atmosphere.
The Village offers an accessible and lively immersion into the world of Champagne and French gastronomy: educational tastings, opportunities to chat with producers, lectures, introductory workshops, large communal meals, and entertainment punctuate the three-day event. You can choose to simply stroll around with free admission, buy your champagnes directly from the winemakers, opt for a kit that includes five educational tastings, or extend the experience with additional tastings.
New for 2026: You can purchase champagne directly from the participating winemakers. In addition, the Friday and Saturday evening hours, which run until 10:00 p.m., allow you to enjoy the Village in the evening, set against the backdrop of Reims’ iconic historic and scenic landscape.

Village des Relais of Taste – Porte de Mars Esplanade
The Village des Relais du Goût is located in the heart of the Hautes Promenades, across from the monumental Porte de Mars. Combining heritage, nature, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere, this vast promenade—a favorite among the residents of Reims—offers a unique setting for major events. During the festival, it becomes a gathering place dedicated to the flavors of Champagne and the people who bring it to life.

Winemakers’ Champagne
Founded in 2001 by the Syndicat Général des Vignerons de la Champagne to promote the champagnes produced by the winegrowers of the Champagne region, the “Champagne de Vignerons” collective brand now brings together all the winemakers and winemakers’ associations that market Champagne.
This initiative highlights the meticulous work of winemakers, who craft wines full of character that reflect the richness and diversity of Champagne’s terroirs. These rare and unique champagnes are distinguished by several characteristics:
• They come from distinctive terroirs and family-run estates, where expertise is passed down from generation to generation.
• They are crafted with the highest standards of quality: the vines are cultivated by the winemakers themselves, and winemaking takes place on their estates or within winemakers’ cooperatives.
• They express a wide variety of styles and personalities, brought to life by nearly 4,000 winemakers and winemakers’ cooperatives united under the Champagne de Vignerons banner.
The winemakers in attendance
The Champagne winemakers, gathered for the Relais du Goût event, invite you to discover, through their wines, the full diversity and richness of the Champagne AOC terroir.
