In the elegant setting of Villa Douce, you’ll discover a pastry creation designed for Les Relais du Goût by pastry chef Pascal Ferrat. During this brief and exclusive tasting, two of the region’s iconic gourmet delights come together: the pear and the Biscuit Rose de Reims from Maison Fossier, the city’s sweet symbol.
You’ll be welcomed into this Art Deco mansion—usually off-limits to the public—whose elegant atmosphere adds a special touch to the experience. The tasting highlights the textures, aromas, and balance of a creation specially designed for the event. With no lengthy formalities or constraints, you’ll enjoy a 15-minute culinary interlude in a small group, savoring the chef’s creations and discussing the featured ingredients.
This experience combines heritage, pastry-making, and Reims’ culinary traditions. It offers a unique way to explore Villa Douce while sampling a contemporary take on two local specialties.

Pascal Ferrat
Pascal Ferrat, pastry chef, has created a dessert specially designed for the event. His creation brings together pear and Maison Fossier’s Biscuit Rose de Reims in a dish designed for a brief, elegant, and accessible tasting experience.


Villa Douce
Built between 1929 and 1934 for notary André Douce, Villa Douce is an Art Deco mansion designed by Pol Gosset. Its brick façade and interior inspired by the ocean liner style make it a unique landmark in Reims’ cultural heritage.
Listed for its remarkable music salon, it now houses the University of Reims Champagne-Ardenne and opens its doors to the public on special occasions, such as the Relais du Goût.
